About oka-project

Expanding possibilities

oka-project is a personal project run by oka, an independent maker in Japan. Through web tools, media, and experiments, it aims to surface options that stay hidden when information or tooling is missing — and to expand what people and their work can do.

There are already plenty of good services, works, places, and ideas in the world — but they don't always reach the people who need them. Not knowing something exists, not knowing how to find it, a tool that is just a bit too heavy: small friction like this quietly hides options. oka-project exists to fill in that "almost there" gap, one small thing at a time.

The themes here range across web tools, VRChat, AI, and indie development, but the pattern is always the same: get curious, try it, build it, write it down, ship it.

I like making things and putting thoughts into words. I write about VRChat worlds on "oka-vrc travelogue", build small web tools with the help of AI, and keep notes on what I try along the way. oka-project is where all of it accumulates.
