Sai no Kawara

Stack the stones. A demon comes and knocks them down. Broken stones turn into impermanence, and impermanence calls Jizo. Jizo keep stacking on their own, and the demon breaks the tower again. The more you are broken, the busier the riverbank gets.

How to play

Stack — Tap the riverbank or the STACK button to add a stone. Before long a demon comes and knocks the tower down.
Call Jizo with impermanence — Stones the demon breaks become impermanence. Spend it to call Jizo, who keep stacking stones for you (even while the page is closed).
Foresee — The demon wades across the river from the far bank. Once it climbs ashore, release the tower yourself and your impermanence doubles. Release it the instant the demon raises its club and you get another ×1.5. Foresee it again and again, and it grows further.

Saving and your data (from the FAQ)

Is anything I do sent anywhere? Not while you play. The game runs entirely in your browser. The one exception is exporting or importing your record (in the Menu, under Your record): at that moment your record goes to this site's server, which seals (encrypts) it into a string and sends it back. The server keeps only a serial number, a fingerprint of its summary, and the time, never the record itself. Page views are measured with Google Analytics, but your progress and actions are never part of it.
Where is my progress saved? Only in your browser (localStorage). It does not carry over to other devices or browsers. To continue elsewhere, export your record as a string and import it on the other device. Clearing your browser data erases your progress too.
Can I play offline? Yes. Once you have opened it, it plays without a connection (the page and its files are stored in your browser).
