Expanding possibilities
Turning what you never knew about into something you can choose.
Even a well-known, great world was not reaching the people who needed it
People who had played VRChat for years did not know that world, and neither did people guiding newcomers. The information was not missing; it was there and simply was not getting to them, it seems. That small surprise is where this started.
If it exists, someone can find it
A shop is there, but it does not show up in search. A world is there, but with no way to find it, no one comes back. A better way is there, but if you do not know it, you cannot choose it. The same thing probably happens everywhere.
Remove one reason it cannot be done
Some things had to be given up for lack of something. Trying anyway, even when it did not work out, left knowledge behind and led to the next step. So the aim is to remove one reason someone cannot do something, and add one more chance to try.
Introduce. If something is missing, make it.
Build a bridge between good things that already exist and the people who need them. The light should fall on the makers and on the thing itself. Where a gap cannot be filled, make something. They look like separate activities, but they grow from the same place.
Spread more excitement.
Users and worlds were not being matched well. oka-vrc travelogue, which introduces VRChat worlds, started there and is still going. On the making side, there is a quiz for VRChat users, made when almost none existed, and tools that run in the browser. If small posts and actions pile up and someone notices one day that “this is oka-project too,” that is enough.

Toward the next possibility
The forms change, but the direction is one. Whatever starts next will likely spread from the same place. oka-project is here as the base that holds them together.
